DSST Schools shine in latest Colorado School Performance Framework Results

Written by DSST Public Schools | 09/12/24

We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the DSST community! The preliminary results for Colorado's School Performance Framework (SPF) are in, and we’re proud to announce that DSST schools are continuing to lead the way in excellence.

Top-ranking high schools
This year, DSST operates the top three high schools in Denver, with DSST: Cedar named the No. 1 high school in the city. A big congratulations also goes to Aurora Science & Tech (AST), now the No.1 high school in Aurora. It’s an incredible achievement that reflects the hard work of our staff, students, and families. Additionally, of the 20 middle schools in Denver rated "Green" on the SPF, six of them are part of the DSST network!

🎉 Time to celebrate! 🎉
In total, 12 out of our 16 DSST schools earned the highest performance rating—Green! That’s an increase from last year’s 11 schools. Congratulations to the following middle and high schools for their outstanding performance:

Middle Schools

  • Cedar MS
  • Cole MS
  • College View MS
  • Conservatory Green MS
  • Green Valley Ranch MS
  • Montview MS

High Schools

  • Aurora Science & Tech HS
  • Cedar HS
  • Conservatory Green HS
  • Elevate HS
  • Green Valley Ranch HS
  • Montview HS

A special shoutout to Montview MS and AST HS for raising their performance ratings this year. The growth at these schools is a testament to the dedication of our staff, students and the entire community.

Looking ahead
Our goal is for every DSST school to earn a Green rating by the end of the 2024-25 school year. We’re building on the progress made so far and pushing toward that ambitious goal. It’s a daily commitment to ensuring that not only do all schools thrive, but that every DSST student is engaged and learning.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us—we’re excited to continue the hard work, together.
