The Class of 2026 has done it. Every DSST senior has been admitted to college or a postsecondary program. It’s a milestone that reflects not only academic achievement, but years of resilience, mentorship, and community support. From first‑generation college goers to students pursuing skilled trades and service pathways, this class is stepping into the world with purpose and possibility.
A Milestone Nearly Two Decades Strong
For the 19th consecutive year, every DSST senior has been admitted to a college or postsecondary program. It’s a tradition rooted in equity and the belief that every student, regardless of background, deserves access to opportunity.
“This collective achievement is a testament to our students’ brilliance, and to the families and educators who have invested in them,” Nella García Urban, CEO of DSST Public Schools said. “DSST students continue to prove what is possible when young people belong to a community that believes deeply in their potential.”
A Historic First: Aurora Science & Tech’s Inaugural Graduating Class
This year carries special meaning as DSST celebrates the first graduating class from Aurora Science & Tech (AST). These seniors have been trailblazers from the start - the first to walk the halls, the first to shape school traditions, and now the first to carry AST’s mission into the world. In the words of AST seniors:
Their 100% admission milestone marks a powerful beginning for the school and the Aurora community.
What Comes Next
On April 30, thousands of students, families, educators, and community members will gather at the Denver Coliseum for Senior Signing Day, one of DSST’s most joyful and inspiring traditions. Each senior will take the stage to announce their college or postsecondary plans, a moment that captures both individual triumph and collective pride.
Whether you join us in person or online, we invite you to celebrate this extraordinary class.
