Hello DSST! My name is Dalia Trejo, recipient of the 2019 Integrity Award. I am so excited to share with you today my choice for an organization representative of my Core Value award- Z Place.
Serving nearly 18,000 students, Z Place is a unique gathering place, support center, and network that houses innovative service providers who collaborate to enhance the lives of children and families where services, ideas, energy and determination will be linked together to provide the community with programs, resources and services that will make families stronger, kids more prepared for success and the community more connected. This includes access to high quality education, comprehensive health care, and other supportive programs.
Z Place is a groundbreaking community model of education, representing the whole child, whole family and whole community, and a true embodiment of our Integrity core value.
