Diagnostic observations happening now

Written by DSST Public Schools | 09/10/18

Diagnostic Observations will take place from September 10th to September 27th!

The Teacher Effectiveness (TE) rubric illustrates our vision of excellence in teaching.  Diagnostic observations allow teachers to get a clear understanding of the TE rubric and what exemplary instruction looks like in the classroom. New teachers will receive a diagnostic formal observation between 9/10 - 9/27. The DSST Fall Diagnostic Observations are not scheduled in advance.

Teachers should complete a lesson reflection in Quickbase after their observation and prior to meeting with their coach to review their scores and feedback.  Information on the observation cycles and process can be found here.
