**Diagnostic Observations** will take place from September 10th to September 27th!

The [Teacher Effectiveness (TE) rubric](https://docs.google.com/document/d/10jLx6-pFhKoXS6W6Wkd52zwtIhQdOkBLh0L6nICmCeA/edit) illustrates our vision of excellence in teaching.  Diagnostic observations allow teachers to get a clear understanding of the TE rubric and what exemplary instruction looks like in the classroom. New teachers will receive a diagnostic formal observation between 9/10 - 9/27. The DSST Fall Diagnostic Observations are not scheduled in advance.

Teachers should complete a lesson reflection in [Quickbase](https://dsst.quickbase.com/db/bf74gibn6) after their observation and prior to meeting with their coach to review their scores and feedback.  Information on the observation cycles and process can be found [here](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fuyKyUL9VI56I5L5hHmVci3_JB4XPKYOBImOENsnQz8/edit?usp=sharing).
