DSST is now offering fertility benefits and adoption reimbursement

DSST has some new benefit offerings we are really excited about. This year, we are proud to offer fertility benefits as well as a new adoption reimbursement policy that will go into effect with the new plan year on July 1, 2023. 

Fertility Benefits: 

Team members who elect DSST medical insurance will have access to fertility benefits through Progyny. We know that fertility benefits are individual and Progyny offers comprehensive and flexible coverage. You can learn more about this new offering, visit the 23 - 24 Fertility Benefits page on the DSST Benefits Site. Starting May 15, 2023, members can call Progyny patient advocates to learn more about this program before open enrollment closes at the end of the month. 

*Please note, in order to access Fertility benefits, you must be enrolled in a DSST medical plan.

Adoption Reimbursement:

DSST is deepening our commitment to family benefits with the addition of an adoption reimbursement policy starting in the 2023 - 2024 plan year. DSST team members are eligible to submit for up to $6,000 in qualifying child adoption-related expenses. This is a benefit internal to DSST. The policy is forthcoming and will be published with the start of the plan year on July 1, 2023, on the Benefits Site.

We are so excited about these new benefits for the upcoming year and we hope it further demonstrates our commitment to our team members and their families. More detailed information will be available on our benefits site, including the links to schedule office hours if you need direct support, but please do not hesitate to reach out to humanresources@scienceandtech.org if there is information or support we can provide in the meantime and remember: Open Enrollment closes on May 31, so make your elections in Workday now! The new plan year begins on 7/1/23.
