DENVER – Earlier this evening the House Education Committee defeated HB21-1295 by a 5-4 margin

   
The decision ensures that families and students in our state will continue to have a legitimate and fair charter appeals process on decisions made by local school boards.

 

The thousands of emails and phone calls to state legislators – combined with the hard work of the League’s legislative affairs team – delivered the message for why this bill had to be defeated.
