It’s why we started Healthy U, where we focus on a different dimension of wellness in each monthly post. We hope to provide you with the information and tools needed to achieve both personal and professional fulfillment.
Emotional Wellness inspires self-care, relaxation, stress reduction and the development of inner strength. A way to connect and improve your emotional wellness is to practice mindfulness. It is important to be attentive to both positive and negative feelings and be able to understand how to handle these emotions.
This month we are highlighting our Employee Assistance Program as a tool you can use to help with your emotional wellness. This service provides you with access to counselors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with unlimited phone conversations, and up to 3 face to face visits per year, per issue, per member of your household.
