Parent Leader Institute - 3/2

This Saturday, March 2nd, DSST is hosting Parent Leader Institute! DSST hopes to engage parents from across the network in a one-day training with Innovate, a national leader in community organizing. Our goal is to build leadership skills and leverage the power of community organizing to make transformational change for students in our community.

At this event, parents will learn how to:
√ Organize effectively for community change
√ Deepen your leadership skills
√ Engage more parents in the effort

This event is FREE and lunch and childcare will be provided - more information can be found in the Facebook event. And, we need YOUR help in encouraging parents to attend. You could:

• Reach out to parents of your advisees
• Talk to parents who you see in your building
• Share our event on your school's or your personal Facebook!
