From medical benefits to 401k and everything in between, the Talent Operations team is always working to help team members from across the network have access to the resources they need to stay healthy. Ashley Wiegner, Director of Talent Operations, leads the TOps team at the Home Office. This week, we’re featuring her adorable rescue Franklin as Pet of the Week!
Ashley and Franklin share a special moment
Franklin is almost 3 years old now, and has been part of Ashley’s family for 2 and a half years. A rescue from New Mexico, he was picked up off the streets at just 6 months old and was given to Soul Dog Rescue, where Ashley scooped him up! He now lives happily with Ashley, her husband, and their baby girl Gadsby. Franklin was immediately smitten with his new sister, but Gadsby was a little bit unsure.
A little space please bro?
Franklin’s favorite thing to do is to play fetch, and with Gadsby now 9 months old and sitting up, he’s ready for her to join in. Pushing his ball towards her in hopes that she’ll throw it, she hasn’t quite developed her pitcher’s arm yet, but Franklin will wait! In the meantime, he’s catching some serious air in the backyard!
A Fetch Triptych
Franklin generally does not like to play alone, except when it’s snowing. In that case, he’ll jump and frolic the afternoon away.
“Is the hot cocoa ready yet? With a marshmallow please!”
Franklin also enjoys spending quality time with his cousin Steve, who is also a rescue from New Mexico.
“Get Steve on the horn!”
At the end of a long day, Franklin does not enjoy relaxing in the tub. But he certainly does look cute post-bath!
