This week, we’re highlighting Lola, an outdoorsy German Shepherd whose mom, Kyla Taylor, is an AP Chemistry & AP Biology Teacher at Conservatory Green High School.
“I love science and I love you mom!”
Kyla got Lola when she was living in Gunnison, CO, and she’s been a part of the family since February 2017 when she was just 7 weeks old. A real mountain dog, Lola loves being outside, and hiking is her favorite activity. She even hits the trails with her best friend Oliver, a German Shorthaired Pointer.
Lola especially enjoys winter hikes where she can romp around in the snow.
Powder day! 🤙 🤙 🤙 🤙
With such a lustrous coat, Lola is reluctant to cheapen it with a costume. However, she loves winter so much that she tolerated reindeer ears for just under 2 seconds this past Christmas.
Feeling the Christmas spirit
While Lola knows how to work the camera and look majestic against a dramatic mountain backdrop, don’t be fooled! She is the goofiest dog with zero coordination- but no less lovable!
We like to show everyone at their most majestic on Pet of the Week
