Everyone loves a good love story. Add dogs to the mix and it’s a classic. This week, we’re highlighting two future siblings, Reggie and Fitzgerald, who brought their parents, CG MS Special Education teacher Heather Charlton and her fiancé together at a dog park.
Clockwise from left: Caleb, Heather, Reggie, and Fitzgerald.
Heather adopted Reggie from the Humane Society at just 14 weeks old, and has had her for 6 years. Caleb has had Fitzgerald for 12 years. They will officially be siblings on June 12, when their parents get married. While everyone was ready for a big celebration last year, COVID postponed their wedding.
“That just means we have more time to practice our walk down the aisle!”
While Fitzgerald may not be the most energetic as he ages, Reggie loves to hunt squirrels….
“I’ll get you next time, don’t look so smug!”
And fish.
“Pretty please?”
The two pups will not be attending the wedding, as their parents would like to enjoy a carefree celebration and leave the dog-sitting to someone else. However, these two still know how to party and will be there in spirit.
“We do!”
