Every year, we kick off the new school year with Infusion. 20-21 was no exception, but the virtual event certainly looked different than years past. Home Office Manager of Events Katie Glenn is the logistics mastermind behind this event, as well as other network favorites including Senior Signing Day and the Holiday Party. Katie makes planning and executing enormous and intricately detailed events look like a breeze, always with a joke and a smile. But all joking aside, she’d likely agree that it’s about time her family’s two cats, Jack and Jill, and dog Simon had their 15 minutes of Helix fame!

Jack is a beautiful long haired orange tabby cat who enjoys drinking from the kitchen sink, lounging on the counter, and snoozing on the couch. After being rescued at the ASPCA in Pennsylvania, he has been a member of the Dillon-Glenn family for ten and a half years now.
This Fireside Chat is simply captivating!
Katie and Erin got Jack’s younger sister, Jill, from a friend five years ago. Shy and mysterious, Jill, aka Black Panther, likes to hide out when company is around, but comes out to play when the coast is clear.

And then we come to Simon. He’s been Erin’s dog for eight and half years, and now fiercely defends (sometimes, a tad too much) his family, including his two human brothers. True story- Simon once nipped your narrator on the ankle while playing around with Griff!
“I may look cozy in my blanket, but I’m in no mood to fool around!”
Simon loves to hike the majestic Leadville terrain off leash, play with his dog neighbors Penny and Bear Dog, and savors every human food except fruit.
Just like his cat siblings, Simon loves to snooze on the couch
Jack and Jill also love to sleep in Katie’s bed- in fact, it’s one of their favorite activities. Typically, Jack sleeps on her pillow, Jill sleeps near her stomach and Simon sleeps at her feet. After all, event planning is not easy, and we all need our beauty sleep!
