Topic of the Week: Everything you need to know about VOTING!
“Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.”
Franklin D. Roosevelt
32nd President of the United States
Election day is November 3rd. Are you ready to exercise your civic duty? Below is everything you need to know about voting in Colorado. We hope to empower everyone within our community to vote and get their voice heard. This election will of course determine who will be president, PLUS there will be several local initiatives and candidates on the ballot that will likely impact our schools and community. So let's go out and let our voices be heard!

Census
The Census deadline is end of September and it is imperative to make sure everyone is counted. The Census will determine how much federal funding Colorado receives for vital priorities like infrastructure, affordable housing, school lunches and community development. It also will determine whether Colorado, which is one of the fastest growing states in the U.S., receives the number of seats it deserves in the U.S. House of Representatives. This has been a tough year for everyone, especially underserved communities. Make sure that your community is being heard and recognized by completing the Census and then asking your friends and neighbors to do the same. Make everyone count!
