We are excited to be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month as a DSST community. Our CEO, Nella García Urban, sent an email where she shared what this month means for her as a Latina and how she celebrates.

DSST events/celebrations: 

• Elevate will celebrate starting on Oct. 7 with a Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week
• Green Valley Ranch High School will host a celebration event on Oct. 8
• Conservatory Green will have a Latinx Heritage Month Celebration on Oct. 15.
• Montview Middle School has a museum display called The Montsonian Museum of Culture & History Presents: Yo Soy; Tu Eres; Nosotros Somos--A Latino Heritage Month Celebration
