DSST: GVR High School had an awesome Dia de los Muertos celebration this year! Teachers & students set up an altar in their Commons and their staff decorated sugar skull cookies together yesterday!
Their Spanish department took the lead on the altar - and we think it turned out fantastic! Rosita Mallo then presented to they staff about Day of the Dead and then helped make the cookies.
It's awesome that both the staff and students had the opportunity to learn about and celebrate Dia de los Muertos. What did your school do?And what other celebrations are coming up?
