- What is the potential benefit of this special enrollment:
- Employees with medical needs who would like to be able to access a broader range of physicians from a set provider network might want to research this option.
This plan has a higher monthly cost to employees compared to other plans offered by DSST; however, many staff members expressed the sincere need for an additional plan option like this and DSST hopes this will help!
This rare, special enrollment is occurring in addition to the DSST annual Open Enrollment Period that will take place in Spring 2019. If elected, the coverage period for this Kaiser PPO plan will be effective for the remainder of the 2018-2019 plan year, ending June 30, 2019.
