We are excited to announce incoming leadership at DSST Cole. Grant Erwin will be joining the DSST team as School Director for Cole Middle School and Lia Brunner has been named School Director for Cole High School.

As a leader and educator for the past ten years, Grant Erwin has developed a consistent track record of excellence in driving student achievement and cultivating a values-centered culture among students, families, and the community. Grant joins DSST from KIPP Colorado where he has led KIPP Northeast Denver Leadership Academy to record-breaking distinctions as the #1 High School in Denver for more than two years with the school earning a Blue/Distinguished SPF rating every year since the school’s founding.

Lia Brunner, who has served as the School Director in Training at DSST Cole High School for the past two years, will begin leading as School Director in 19-20. Lia brings a depth of knowledge about the Cole community, a strong commitment to the DSST mission, and an unwavering belief in students.
