Mentor teachers play an important role at DSST by supporting the growth and development of our new teachers. From mentoring DSST Apprentice Teachers or Student Teachers to hosting part time Field Placement Interns or EnCorps Fellows, our DSST Mentor Teachers help to ensure we have pipelines of talented and diverse first-year teachers for our school communities.

Are you interested in serving as a mentor teacher for the 2022-23 school year? The application deadline is Friday, March 25! DSST has a variety of ways to lead as a mentor teacher, from mentoring Apprentice Teachers to hosting EnCorps Fellows.
