The U.S. News and World Report has released its list for the top middle schools in Colorado. According to the report, U.S. News analyzed 102,610 pre-K, elementary and middle schools. We are proud to report that all seven eligible DSST middle schools were ranked in the inaugural report! Congratulations to the following schools:
- #19 DSST: Byers Middle School
- #73 DSST Middle School @Noel
- #91 DSST: Montview Middle School
- #110 DSST: Conservatory Green Middle School
- #119 DSST: Green Valley Ranch Middle School
- #135 DSST: College View Middle School
- #332 DSST: Cole Middle School
The only middle school to not rank was Aurora Science & Tech, because the school is too new to have enough data for the ranking.
In a previous report on high school rankings, U.S. News took a look at 24,000 public high schools across the country. Out of all the schools in the nation, four DSST high schools ranked among the top 1,000. In Colorado, those schools ranked among the top 30. Congrats to the following DSST high schools:
- DSST: Montview High School - #266 national ranking, #6 Colorado
- DSST: Green Valley Ranch High School - #347 national ranking, #9 Colorado
- DSST: College View High School - #612 national ranking, #18 Colorado
- DSST: Cole High School - #782 national ranking, #26 Colorado
DSST: Byers and DSST: Conservatory Green were not among the ranking because, like AST, they are too new to have enough data collected. Congratulations to all schools!
