It would be impossible for DSST to have the impact that it does without its amazing teachers.and staff. Each day, you dedicate yourselves to helping to our students become the best versions of themselves. That’s why we’re happy to provide extra special recognition from May 7-11, during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Our teachers deserve praise all the time, but we’re thrilled to have a number of celebrations planned during the week to acknowledge our teachers and staff who help support our students across the network:

• The network will be gifting all teachers and staff  a special piece of swag and some healthy snacks as a token of our appreciation for all that you do every day on behalf of our students.  Our Front Office and administrative support teams also will receive this gift since they’re instrumental in helping our schools operate at a high level every day.
• We already know how awesome our teachers are in the classroom, but you should see what DSST teachers and staff are doing when they’re not helping students become the best versions of themselves! Look for a series of stories on the Helix that we’re calling “Teacher’s Lounge,” which feature staff involved in cool and interesting hobbies.
• Last week and this week, we will have special catered lunches on your campus to continue our Top Workplace honor!
