Healthy U: Emotional wellness & mindfulness

HealthyULogo_horizAt DSST, we understand our people are our most valuable resource. That's why we emphasize wellness and support each other to lead fulfilling and healthy lives, which is why we started Healthy U. This month, we're focusing on emotional wellness and mindfulness.

Emotional Wellness inspires self-care, relaxation, stress reduction and the development of inner strength. A way to connect and improve your emotional wellness is to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. It is important to be attentive to both positive and negative feelings and be able to understand how to handle these emotions.
