We are over halfway through Hispanic Heritage Month, which spans September 15th to October 15th, and celebratory events have been abundant across our campuses over the past two weeks.
Nearly 60% of our students and their families and 16% of our staff identify as Hispanic/Latinx, and we’re excited to highlight the many different ways our schools have been celebrating Hispanic heritage this month.

There have been dedicated Morning Meetings across our schools, as well as an upcoming Culture Night (which will include salsa lessons!) and Lotería Night at DSST: Green Valley Ranch. Many students have shown their Courage and shared their cultural and family traditions with their peers. Shout out to Katherine, Jaelyn, Lucas, and Ms. Nina for sharing their cultural traditions at the DSST: College View Morning Meeting!
Have stories or photos from your school’s Hispanic Heritage month celebrations or other #CoreValueMoments seen at your school? We want to see and hear them! Email us at MAC@scienceandtech.org.
