After a year of impressive board meeting turnouts, impassioned public comments made both in person and virtually, signing petitions, and elevating all voices, we are excited to welcome the Noel Bulldogs to their new high school building this fall.
With a new building comes a new name, and DSST: Elevate Northeast High School will be opening its doors to a Founding Class of 9th graders in the fall of 2021. As we announced last month, Travonda Favorite, formerly the School Director in Training at DSST Middle School @ Noel, will be the Founding School Director! In this video, she introduces the new school and the vision for success.
Located just a few miles west of DSST Middle School @ Noel, we are currently finalizing the 9th grade space of the building to be ready by August 2021. In this “Phase 1” we’ll be focusing on classrooms, offices, Commons, and the cafeteria. “Phase 2” should be completed by Aug 2022 , including a full building renovation with field/outdoor space, gym, remaining classrooms, labs, and car flow/parking.

In order to avoid confusion for new middle school families, DSST Middle School @ Noel will not see a name change this year. However, next year, to have unity across the two campuses, the middle school will be known as DSST: Elevate Northeast Middle School. New name, same great Bulldogs. And we are so excited to welcome them to their new building in the 21-22 school year!
