As we near the close of a chapter for the Henry Pride, we know this year has not been without some unique challenges. However, throughout it all, our team has been dedicated to making the transition as seamless and supportive as possible for Henry families. As numerous Henry students prepare to join the College View MS community next year, the team has been hard at work to welcome them.
Everyone loves a good love story. Add dogs to the mix and it’s a classic. This week, we’re highlighting two future siblings, Reggie and Fitzgerald, who brought their parents, CG MS Special Education teacher Heather Charlton and her fiancé together at a dog park.
As the Class of 2021 wraps up their final year of high school, each unique school community has so much to celebrate. We acknowledge that there are still lingering questions and concerns around the COVID-19 vaccine, especially within our communities of color. Therefore, we wanted to pass along an opportunity for those interested in additional vaccine education. KIPP Colorado is partnering with the CDPHE to connect community members with health care providers to talk about the COVID-19 vaccine and answer any lingering questions you may have.
Many of us are no stranger to adversity- but sometimes, our pets have seen their fair share of struggle as well. Come along with us as we share the hero’s journey of Lucy, a chiweenie (half chihuahua, half Dachshund) who belongs to CG MS English Teacher, Camilla Waldeck-Young.
Navigating remote and hybrid instruction has been a challenge for everyone, and teaching art in a remote/hybrid setting is no exception! However, the Visual Arts team at DSST has shown perseverance and flexibility throughout the 20-21 school year and empowered students to showcase their amazing talents.
