When Matthew Telles walked through the doors of DSST: Green Valley Ranch in 2010, he wasn’t just another sixth-grader starting middle school—he was a founding student. The weight of that title settled on his young shoulders as he and his classmates set out to build something special, something lasting. Seven years later, he stood on the stage at Senior Signing Day, ready to take his next step into the unknown. However, the journey between those two moments was anything but easy.

Ten seniors from across the DSST network have been recognized for their hard work, dedication and academic excellence by being awarded full-ride scholarships to some of the nation’s most prestigious universities.

DSST Center Program students celebrate the season at 3rd annual Winter Carnival

Our third annual Winter Carnival was pure joy! Students from our Center Programs across the DSST network came together for a fun-filled day of music, games, crafts, delicious treats and the crowd favorite—a moon bounce! This year even featured special guest Dinger, the mascot for the Colorado Rockies.

DSST: College View career fair opens doors to new opportunities for students

On Oct. 29, DSST: College View buzzed with energy as students explored a world of career possibilities at the school’s first STEM-focused Career Fair. With representatives from more than 20 Denver agencies—ranging from aviation and public health to the Denver Fire Department and city attorneys—the event offered students a unique chance to discover paths they may have never considered.
