This week on Pet of the Week, we’re spotlighting College View High School teacher Haley Rice’s outrageously cute Pomsky, aka Pomeranian/Husky mix, named Sage. 

Haley has worked at College View HS for three years now, teaching 9-12 graders Digital and Visual Arts. Remote learning has not gotten in the way of creative opportunities for her students. Her 12 grade class is currently developing websites, logos, and their own brand, preparing to sell prints and digital work online during Trimester 2, and beyond.  She also leads students in creating self portrait collages with magazines, photos, and any items they may have around the house. Students are also encouraged to utilize other art supplies around their house to draw/paint images for their collage. 

At Haley’s house, young muse Sage provides endless artistic inspiration. Just 2 and half years old, Sage is always game for a good costume and cozy moment.

One of Sage’s favorite activities is sleeping under the bed and curling up on the couch with her own comforter, always there for her convenience.  When she’s not at home, she finds other ways to create those hygge vibes.

Never shying away from some good hat work, Sage likes to be styled for all occasions, whether it’s hitting the open road or just browsing at the shops.

Whether dressed to the nines or just relaxing, Sage knows how to live the good life. We tip our hats to you, Sage!
