Hello DSST Team,
I hope your first week back (or, if you’re new to DSST, your first full week with us) has been a good one. I myself have spent most of this week riding a high from Monday’s Infusion event -- I LOVE the start of every new school year. I hope that there are moments in your planning and preparation where you’re reminded of this: whenever we start anew, we begin from a place of possibility. I am carrying so much hope for the year ahead, and believe that - together - the possibilities for what we might accomplish are truly endless.
I asked you at Infusion to tell us how you are doing -- every week. This is Week #1 -- and I am anxious to hear how you are feeling and how we are doing, as a network community. Please continue to help us identify opportunities to support and learn from you by completing the Week 1 Network Pulse Survey before 3:00 PM tomorrow. As I shared on Monday, participating in surveys at DSST isn’t really optional - your voice matters. I am asking that you take 5 minutes in the next 24 hours to complete this survey.
TO COMPLETE THE NETWORK PULSE SURVEY
For Caregivers
You’ll see on this week’s survey that we’re looking to get a little more clear about the caregiving responsibilities facing our staff so that our support can be targeted and responsive to your needs. In the meantime, I hope you’ll consider joining the new DSST Caregiver group on Teams (simply join by clicking this link - we’ll get you approved and in the group ASAP). This group is designed to function much like a Facebook group and can be used to share resources, post questions, advertise needs and generally foster a sense of community. I hope you’ll consider joining this group, and that you find it a helpful space to organically problem-solve and support one another.
Thank you again, team, for your participation in the Week 1 Network Pulse Survey. And welcome back! I am so excited for the clean slate that is the 20-21 school year - let’s make it a good one!
With gratitude,
Christine
