If you haven’t seen it yet, breakout rooms are in Teams now!

• Only the meeting organizer can start breakout rooms. So teachers will only see this in meetings that they organized. 

Getting Breakout Rooms In Your Teams

• This is being rolled out to users across our network. It may take a day or two.
• You will only see the button for this if you are in a meeting that you organized.

Make sure that the new meeting experience is enabled (Teams -> Settings -> General -> Check “Turn on new meeting experience”)
Check and make sure you have the latest Teams updates (Update Microsoft Teams - Office Support)
