Women in STEM: Honoring history and elevating voices - Insights from DSST's women's history panel
Five inspiring women from different positions across the DSST network took some time last month to discuss the importance of women in STEM and elevating women's voices.
Panelists, Sadia Aziz from DSST: Cole, Melissa Dillon from DSST: Montview, Marissa Chaney Manriquez from DSST: College View, Kryszelda Gorrell from Aurora Science & Tech and moderator Mercedes Beal-Davis discussed the historical struggles women have faced in male-dominated fields and the importance of celebrating the contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
