At Our Core: Graduation Gratitude Video Series Kick-Off
The road to graduation and college is not an easy one. From tackling challenging AP classes to creating meaningful senior projects, sometimes while juggling side jobs, our students have worked hard for their moment to announce on the Denver Coliseum stage where they will be attending college next year. As our #DSSTSEN19RS get closer and closer to Senior Signing Day and graduation, they’ve taken time to reflect back and thank the people who have been there for them along the way.

Celebrate DSST's 15th Anniversary at Slice of Pi!
Slice of Pi is always an inspirational event, and this year, it will be extra meaningful as we celebrate DSST’s 15th anniversary. This year's honorees are DSST’s Founding Board: Michele Cooper, David Greenberg, Monica Garcia Howard, Stephanie O’Malley, Norwood Robb, Sandra Scanlon, and Jackie Sullivan. Their visionary leadership has set DSST on a course to create educational excellence, eliminate inequity in urban public education, and prepare all students for college and careers in the 21st century.

At Our Core: Exemplary College Essay Edition
With Senior Signing Day less than one month away, hearing the diverse and compelling stories of our graduating Seniors makes us even more excited for this unforgettable day. We heard these stories during speeches at College Acceptance Parties, interviews with Questbridge Scholars, and of course, the all-important college essay. Stapleton Senior Iftu expanded on the unique experiences that led her to write an especially memorable essay.
