Introducing the DSST Daily Health Screener Tool!

We are excited to put additional measures in place to promote the health and safety of our staff and students participating in in-person opportunities! To keep our community safe, DSST will be requiring any team member or student participating in in-person opportunities to take a health screener from home prior to traveling to a DSST school. This screener asks our team members and families to take their temperature as well as identify if they are experiencing or could have been exposed to someone experiencing any other COVID-19 symptoms. This tool will save students and families time while mitigating the risk of a community spread by quickly supporting our community with wellness checks at home.

Here are some useful tools to get yourself up an running with the Daily Health Screener Tool:

How to Get Your Free Flu Shot

As many of you may have heard during the Mayor’s press conference on Monday, it is highly encouraged to get your flu shot this season. There are many ways to get your flu shot for free – below we have listed the two best ways!
  1. Go to your most convenient insurance covered location or to your primary care physician! You can find covered locations in this flyer. ***Not all pharmacies are covered under DSST’s Aetna insurance – this includes many Walgreens locations
  2. Attend a flu shot clinic outside your school’s campus. The dates and times for these will be sent out in the next two weeks.

If you have any questions on where you can get a flu shot please call Aetna’s concierge line at 1-866-307-6096.
