Dispatch from the 2020 Polls!

Yesterday and today, I’ve been stationed at the Barnum Recreation Center VSPC (Voting Service Polling Center) as an election support judge and it has been a really wonderful experience thus far! All of my fellow poll workers are passionate and energetic about the election process and hoping to contribute in whatever way they can to this crucial election cycle, as was my motivation to sign up this year. Typically, the average age of a poll worker is 65, so this year it was especially important for a younger demographic to work the election due to COVID health risks.

And while anxiety is high for many of us, we can still make room for civil discourse and respectfully explore different perspectives. It's Survey Season!
