In addition to a traditional college fair, students will be able to take advantage of breakout sessions geared toward preparing students for success on the road to and through college.

Important 401K Update
DSST continually reviews the funds offered to staff through our 401k retirement program to ensure that we are offering a range of high quality investment options. We will be closing our JHancock Disciplined Value Fund and replacing it with T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund. If you do not want your money transferred to the new fund, log on to your MassMutual account to transfer to another investment option.

Pets of the Week: 10 Reptile Rock Stars
While we’ve seen some very notable and accomplished cats and dogs grace the pages of the Helix blog, let’s just say it- there’s been an embarrassing lack of animal diversity. That’s why we were especially excited when Natalie Thorsland, Support Specialist with Affective Needs Center students at DSST: Henry, reached out with not just her 2 dogs, but 10 pet reptiles.

Seals of Biliteracy at CV HS
At College View High School, students have been preparing for their ACCESS exams, which assess English proficiency. When they pass the test, they receive a biliteracy seal. To help get students and staff excited about acing these tests, CV HS has a resident hype man, Sal the Seal of Biliteracy.
